Moving countries isn't easy, so I interviewed someone to learn about their journey to migrating. This specific person chose to move from Pakistan to New Zealand. "One of the main struggles that was mentioned was if the country is more safer and
easier to live in, better education, career choices and community, etc. Some of the main differences I noticed between the two countries is the environment. Its not as dusty and its more clean in New Zealand as it is in Pakistan."
"I do wish that I got to spend more time with childhood friends and family, going somewhere that's on the other side of the world makes it difficult to keep connections. I remember in my childhood I use to play lots of sports, such as soccer and cricket, my mother was very kind to me too"
"Moving away you sort of miss out on staying with the people you met earlier. With COVID and everything you can't really go back to visit these days. One of the challenges I faced when first moving was figuring out what to do. A whole new area and language, you don't know where anything is either.
"Of course after a little adjusting you do get use to a new country. I have been living in New Zealand for 12+ years, living a happy life."
